I've had my w3v for around a year and a half now and I feel like theres just not as much air coming out of the vent as their used to be. I want to somehow clean out all the dust that has probably accumulated over the months but I'm not sure how.

How easy it to open up the laptop by taking off the keyboard etc. and clean out the vent from the inside? Or would it be effective to just spray some compressed air in the vent from the outside?

It's not hard to remove the bottom cover as well as the keyboard, you just need a regular Philips screwdriver. The screws marked 'K' are the keyboard screws.
