So after drooling over the S5N and the white M5N, I'm now leaning towards the W5. I'm a little concerned about the screen size, but I'd like to get something that's lightweight. I'm a little worried that text on it will be too small to be comfortable for my eyes. I've seen the Sony TR and I remember that the 10.6" was a bit too small. I recently went to check out the the Sony S series which has the 13.3" screen. I think that size is pretty good. If I calculated it right, the W5 is about 1" taller than the Sony TR line and about 0.5" shorter. Does anyone who has the W5 have any issues with the screen size?

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can change the resolution on the W5? I was playing with the S series and adjusted the resolution to something that I thought would be bigger. But it just kept the same resolution in a smaller area with a bigger border around the edges. (I'm not sure how to better explain it.)

hummmmm thats my m5 and i think i might have had it on 800x600.... i'll check.

But look at it this way - in xp you can bump up font sizes.... so that is always something to consider.

    Thanks,

Guess I'm too picky [|)]. I've never liked changing the defaults too much...

well, you're looking at getting a 12" widescreen..... that is the height of a 10" notebook....... it's small...... if it's too small, you don't exactly have a choice but to look at another system, do you?

I mean....... what zoom do you use when typing in word? ..... I mean.. you have small and large fonts to use in xp.... It's a matter of taste, but it's very very hard to try to show you.

    Thanks,
    Justin
