Hey guys Ive got a W5A just wondering I tried to install IIS on my laptop and it wants the i386 folder of my Windows XP SP2 CD but I can only find those Asus Recovery Cd's not an actual Windows XP Cd.. When you guys install windows components where do you find the i386 cab files? Like does Asus include a Windows XP CD that I cant seem to find? Or just those recovery Cd's?

    Hope this makes sence!

... DUNCANGEL understands, but he's just mocking your typo ;)

I've never used an ASUS recovery CD... but from what I understand, it should be just an ISO image of Windows and a few programs. I don't think it'll be possible to access an "i386" folder on the CD... so you may be out of luck unless you have a spare WindowsXP SP2 cd available.

You could try to link it to the "i386" folder inside the Windows folder on your hard drive...
or there should also be a "recovery partition" of your hard drive; try linking to that.

yeah it's not actually the cd.

i had a probelm because i want the extra fonts from different languages.

but it wants the actual WINDOWS XP PRO SP2 disk.

so anyone know how? can you download the language/fonts from a site?
