    Hi all,
I've been looking for Asus W5A but only found W5G00AE so I bought it.
Can anyone tell me the difference and why no W5G on Asus website?

one more, how to adjust RAM for VGA (memory always shows 496 mb-> so only 16 mb for video) can I set it to max 128 mb?

    thanks :)

    You set it in bios

The w5g is the world model, the w5a is the NA model, same thing but different names

Like the m6 series is the same as the z70v series but only here it is called the z70v

    @coriolis,
Good to know they're the same model, thanks :)

In bios, there's memory (RAM): 496 mb but I can't change that number, no option :(
maybe bios setting on W5G different?

    what do you mean?
I just want to set memory for video to max 128 mb, but there's no option to change that in bios, so video memory always 16 mb all the time.
    so...how?

I believe it allocates RAM of VGA dynamically (as needed) to a max of 128mb

Check your system specs. If you had lets say 1gb of ram, and you look and see 896 ram, that means it has used 128mb of ram as VRam, since 1024 - 128 = 896

Like I said earlier I see ram 496 mb so, for video=512-496=16 mb (all the time no matter what programs running).
I can't change that 16 mb to max 128 mb (or any number)
and DUNCANGEL said his already 128 mb.
    So...??
