This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    W5F Specification question...

    I have decided to buy the ASUS W5F and now am price/accessory shopping a couple of different web sites. On Proportables the RAM is listed as 512MB 533MHz and on Powernotebooks it is listed as 512MB 667MHZ. But, the prices of the notebooks at the two sites are the same. Is this a typo or are there two different options? If so, why are they the same price? Are there multiple models of the W5F out there? I am ready to buy but a little confused right now. Even if it is incremental I want the most bang for my buck. Thanks!
