I got my W5a yesterday, but I've been so busy that I haven't had time to really play with it. But so far, I love it! (I think my boyfriend is starting to get jealous of it too.) [|)]

My only complaint is that the sleeve that comes with it doesn't fit. I put it in and tried to close the flap which has a nice magnetic clasp, but it didn't seem like it'd close. So I flipped it upside-down, thinking it might help. But that didn't seem to work either. I finally realized that since the North American W5a ships with the 6-cell battery that sticks out about an extra 3/4", it's just too big. Either that, or Asus just expects us to carry it around without the battery in. [ :(]

Guess it's time to look for a new sleeve...

That's the problem. I just checked that out myself.. I don't know why they HAD to include the sleeve as well, but again.. it's just a value-added thing.... Technically they 3 cell batteries are going to possibally be available, so you can use it with that. Those sleeves are made to tightly fit these units as they are meant to be sold..... I don't think the 6 cell battery was the best choice for users who wanted the lowest weight and smallest footprint........ but it was for the people who wanted all those goodies and still demanded some decent life. I guess they picked the lesser of two evils, but since the only thing anyone ever said was bad about the S5/M5 was that the standard battery was too small and the 9 cell was too big.... Go figure, they listened to reviews.

The notebook does still fit in the bag though as I noticed.

    Thanks,
    Justin

My V6V doesn't fit in its sleeve either! It is horribly tight. Perhaps throw it in the sleeve, force the snap shut and bake at 350 for 20 minutes...[ ;)]
