This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    W5a Touchpad Scrolling

    For those of you interested in the W5, here's something kinda interesting...

    When I got mine, I thought it didn't have the extra scrolling feature (where you just slide your finger up or down to scroll the page) that the W3v has since it didn't have the printed little scrollbar picture on it. But I was just looking through the manual, and it says you can do it, and to my surprise, it worked!

    I actually tried it before in Mozilla, but it didn't work [xx(]. That's probably why I thought it didn't have it either.

    Yeah... I think that's because the touchpad is painted....
