I was comming back from school...when I took my lappie to put on the desk I heard some weird noise (seems that something) was loose. So I decided to solve this myself. I open up the LCD plastic bezel and found that a screw holding the screen to the hinge was off its normal position (loose by itself) so screw right in. I wonder why the Hell does Asus not put lock tite on the stupid screw!!!! look at the attached image

That's a pretty rare circumstance, ASUS being unresponsible for their ENSEMBLE line!

Well, its easily fixable, at least you *Don't take any offense here* don't own a Dell and it's LCD slid off and ripped the power cords right out!

Seriously, besides the sarcasm, it could be worse. The screw could of popped out, and slid across the LCD resuting in a 3mm deep, 8" scratch!

Dude - blue loctite (the removable kind) is used on basically all of the screws on the system........ that little screw that came out though I know for a fact I've never seen loctite on those....... I've also never seen that particular screw come loose though either. If I were you I might put some on there or atleast make sure it's really tight before you put the bezel back on. Good job though for taking on the issue yourself. It was probably a 5 minute job when others would have complained about it for weeks and then mailed it into Asus.
