    Hello all,

    i have a question. My friend just got a W7 and it came standard with 1 GB of memmory. After seing gow slow it is, we decided to upgrade the memmory. We bought 2X1gb sticks in effort to get 2GB. We got it today and tried to install it. We found the first memmory slot next to the battery and installed it bt we cant find th second. Can anyone help us. FYI this is a W7S, We need help asap! thanks

    The W7 comes with 512MB soldered onto the motherboard and one expandable slot. Assuming this is a W7J the max memory you can put into the notebook is 1.5 GB (total, so you can only add a 1GB stick into the expandable slot). If your friend has a W7S, you can put 1 x 2GB stick into the expandable slot for a maximum of 2.5 GB of ram. You guys wasted money buying 2 x 1GB sticks.
