    Hey,

today i tried to hook up my W7J with an external 19" LG TFT display. I noticed that the picture on the external screen appears to be very blurry and unclear. However it gets better when i switch from 60 to 70 HZ but it is still not as clear as it used to be when I had my M6N Hooked to it. I tried all different settings in the nvidia control pannel without success. Maybe anyone can help me. Why is the output so low quality??

If the output resolution you're using isn't the same as the native resolution on your 19" (which, unless it's a widescreen, it won't be), you could have some blurriness because the LG is displaying at a lower resolution and having to interpolate the pixels to fit the same amount of info into a different screen size/orientation? You can get a similar blur effect if you turn down the resolution in the Display Properties on your W7 to 1024x768, for example.

Try the different display resolutions (rather than the screen refresh rate) on the video card and see if you can find something that works better.

um switching the refresh rate on a lcd wont do anything. refresh is need on CRT monitors. if its at the native rez it should not be fuzzy. have you tried another pc on that monitor?

Are you using the VGA out, in which case the signal quality might not be too good, or your tft isnt tuning into it properly. Also make sure that your using a good quality VGA cable.

I am suspecting that my motherboard is defective. My machine is a total nightmare. I mean, I tried like 5 different TFTs that work well with other notebooks but with my W7J it all appears blurry like Clear type is going crazy.
