The US got the W7's in on Monday...... we recieved some yesterday, and our main shipment is arriving on Friday...... but I don't expect anything to ship before we get back from the 4th of July holiday on Wednesday. They physically haven't made it to Canada yet...

Looks like the price has been confirmed.
Proportable is selling it for $1499. Geared2play has it for $1449. eWiz has it for $1436. Newegg has it for $1498. MileStonePC still has it for $1549. :)

We actually adjusted the listing price already and added a " price-match" option on our site.

OK, we get it. You've got them, from the multiple posts you've made re: that issue. You can dial back the sales pitch trying to get people to buy from you. Resellers and dealers here usually try to serve more as resources and answer any questions posed about their particular products, and include links to their site in their sig for anyone interested in purchasing from them :)

I've been importing these notebooks for more than five years now and ebay was never a good place to sell them and certainly not a good place to look remotely professional....... You come on this forum to sell notebooks, then get a handle with the name of your company. I also have a very good source to know who's getting what and unless you're sercretly an employee of Asus (which has happened before) that's stealing stock from the company and trying to off load it on ebay...... or you're full of yourself. Anyone willing to take their chances on some random guy with no experience of record.... is honestly crazy and deserving of the chance they're taking.

I usually don't give a darn as people come and go from this site..... they come because I help out here and they expect tons of sales to come through this site because I stay and put in the time........ and then they leave because they realize more sales will come from people accidentally calling you than are purposely coming to you because of showing up on this forum.

I'm not telling you to leave, I'm telling you to smarten up... and if you don't want to do that, then you could leave... but it's your choice.

if he actaully sold it at a lesser price (175+ less) than what its going for, i would pick it up off him right now.

Well, he's selling it for CAD $1700 + Tax (not thru Ebay), and I believe CalibratedComa already went to his place and verified that he has it in stock.

Look up the W7J on Ebay thread, it's all in there.

I don't mean to recommend this guy, but... the W7J is $1499 US = about $1650 CAD? Milestone has it for $1699 CAD, how is $1700 CAD very high compared to that?

Still, if I were buying, I'd also go with MilestonePC.

He does have them. There's nothing wrong buying from him if you're happy with the price...If he's willing to sell it for $1700 Canadian, and you want one right now, then there's really no reason not to buy one from him. It's your choice, but he does have them and he is getting them from a legit source. Good luck with whatever you decide. :)

look..Justin, Danny and Eddie all contribute usefull knowledge to all in the asus forum period. I bought my asus from Danny just from positive things he posted like all the other sellers. I think it`s all bad when someone comes on forums asks questions which all these guys answer time and time again then say on forum they might save X.XX dollars from buying one from someone on ebay? I would rather pay little extra and get a new laptop from a trusted seller which will treat you right when something goes wrong.
