    Cant get the HDMI output to work at all!! Played around the Catalyst Control Centre with no luck, and whenever i press Fn+F8 just shows LCD monitor!! not really sure what im missing!!!

    Just plug the HDMI in, change your external monitor or TV to HDMI mode. Go to screen settings (where you change resolutions), click on the 2nd monitor and check extend desktop.

    make sure the tv is set to the line in:
    for example mine wont recognize the TV when i plug it into the HDMI port(on the TV) until i set the "tv/video" to HDMI 1 (port laptop is plugged into) instead of Ant (satellite)or Video 1(dvd).
