I've googled around and searched the forums, but can't find any info on this issue.
My W90vp LCD panel doesn't turn on anymore. I don't know if it's the backlight or screen invertor. My other thought is the switch that controls turning off the screen when the lid is closed has failed. It happened a few weeks back, but the next day the screen worked fine. I can't see anything at all on the screen, even with a flashlight. The laptop works fine with a external monitor.
Does anyone know of a disassembly guide for this laptop or have any idea what could be causing this issue? I can't rma it at this time as I'm deployed and the mail system is not reliable.

Update:
Since I like to tinker. I took all the screw out on the LCD and carefully pulled the screen from the lid. Looking at it I can't tell if anything is bad or not. So I push on all the cables, making sure everything is good and tight.
I fire up the laptop and the LCD now works fine. I close the lid the screen turns off, I open the lid screen turns on.
I guess it's either the control that turns off the laptop screen is getting stuck or a connector is coming loose when I close the LCD screen. Wierdest issue I've ever had with any laptop I've owned. -
Not sure what happened but really glad you fixed it.
Must have been a loose connection.
