Hi to all
I will be getting a 2nd asus laptop from a local seller. He told me the laptop is like one month with legit receipt with NCIX. The model is Asus U30JC-B1, will I be getting just 1 year waranty or 2 year warranty (with 1 year accidental coverage) ?
Also where should I go on Asus web site to register my laptop to make my warranty become effective ?
Please kindly advise ASAP.
Soon to be a happy customer of ASUS.

The U30JC-B1 comes with a 2 year global warranty (with 1 year accidental via registration) from the manufacturer. You can follow this link to activate your accidental damage warranty:

Don't register it until something goes wrong... that way it's guranteed it's covered when sometging happens.... because within that 1 year, somehting might not happen. so lets say you've had the laptop a year and a half (out of accidental if you activated when you bought) and somehting happens, THEN you register, you're set to go.

I don't see the reasoning behind this. Whether you register now or later, your warranty is still based on the day you've purchased your laptop and not the day of registration.

OP, pay no attention to this. The warranty starts the day you purchase the machine, regardless of when you register it. If there's no place to fill out the date/place of purchase information when you register, the company is going to ask you for it should you need to make a claim.
