    Where do you live usually? If you live in the US I strongly recommend you wait until you are back in the US, the notebooks in Europe are MUCH more expensive due to tax.

    Judging from his grammer and his name i would assume he lives in france or paris. But who knows maybe i am wrong.

    Only place I have seen it available in Europe is again notebook.de I dont know how they do it! It is the 3rd one down in the list. I hope that the 1440x900 display is a mistake.

    The G1 was only available with 1280x800 and that is the main reason no one bought it in Germany. Hopefully Asus learned from that.

    I M actually live in paris, i can not wait to buy G1S;yeah;since the tax is too high, for this i gave up to buy alienware9700; i hate tax right here;but i have no choice

    I don't think a native French would spell France "Frence" (even in French it's France) :) That's why I asked :)

    yeah; u right;i can phone them; but there is no reason for them to not show these new notebooks since G1S is hot thesedays
