I'm sure this has been asked a dozen times but does anyone play World of warcraft on their machine?

I'm on the verge on building and want to avoid paying or the separate videocard. BTW would be a gig of ram.

    Thanks.

I think they mean they don't want to pay to jump to a w3v or something..... and just wondering if WOW will run on Intel's integrated graphics.

I don't play it, but I've seen it played on a system with intel's new integrated graphics and I know some members of the forum do as well. I'm sure the dedicated graphics will help, but I'm not sure how intensive it really is.

sorry to clarify, I'm not looking to jump up to the W3v. I'm looking for experience with the Z63. Thanks.

^hmm in that case, I highly doubt you can buy a z63a barebone and then "add" a graphics card. that just isn't possible (or at least practical) on a laptop.

Wow, please oh pretty please read the forums here before posting.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuut since I'm such a nice guy and my dog just farted in her sleep and stank up my room I'll try to help.

I don't have the intel extreme graphics, but after reading some reviews on it, I'm sure you can play WOW on the Z63A.

One thing though. DO NOT EXPECT IT TO LOOK LIKE IT DOES OR HAS BEFORE IN OTHER COMPUTERS. You will probably have to play it at a really low resolution with really low graphics settings.

If you're lucky you will get a person who plays WOW with a Z63A to come in here and answer for you.

If not, just browse through the forums here or search on google. Simple as that without the waiting time of us responding in here.

    Cheers,
    Mike

Ok, so we just had a lan party here the other night with 5 computers. 3 desktops and 2 asus laptops. The destop has GF FX5500 and GF6600GT 128MB. They both run great. The two laptops are z70va and z70v. Both have the same configuration except for ram.

    Laptop config
    Pentium M 1.73 533Mhz
    512 DDR2 533Mhz (1GB on the z70va) Both single stick
    Fujitsu 60GB 5400RPM (Hitachi 60GB 5400RPM on z70va)
other bla bla bla standard stuff.

Anyways, the z70va beats them all. Duh. but the z70v performance is comparable to the GF6600GT on the desktop. Maybe you have to turn the graphic down a bit (to 16bit) for smoother performance. Also, we tested it on GF2 4400MX? with 64MB. It ran OK on that one as long as you keep the resolution low.

    Conclusion
It will run on z63a AT NATIVE RESOLUTION just fine but if you run it at 16bit x1 multisample, it will be smoother. The rest is up to your preference.
