    Hey folks,

I have an Asus G55VW laptop. It is physically located in a corner of my closet. On the other side of the wall is my workstation that is connected to the laptop via wires through the wall. My problem is that I want to be able to put my laptop in a "Sleep" state and then have the option to wake it up using my keyboard, mouse, or Wake on LAN. The only other option is to walk into the closet and turn it on. When I configure the Power Management to "Allow this device to wake the computer" , it doesn't stay selected after a reboot. I've tried all sorts of trouble-shooting steps but no luck. Is there anyone out there with a resolution to this problem? Is this specific to this laptop model?

    TIA,
