I tried the modified omega drivers from www.omegadrivers.net on my C90. These drivers are supposedly optimized for gaming. I noticed poor video playback before trying any games at all. Now none of my games will launch. I don't know if these drivers are simply not eant for mobile cards (although I have heard from another thread about people using these in dell inspirons) but for the 8600gt 512mb in the C90 I can not recommend them over the other drivers currently available. Perhaps a moddified INF is needed but I have never needed one for official drivers before. I will try finding a modified INF but until I can find one and report that it works I am saying to stay away from these if you own a C90 and to proceed with caution for other notebooks.

ScifiMike12 Drinking the good stuff
I think that's why most of us get our drivers from LaptopVideo2go.com.

Omega Drivers are more for ati.

Omega drivers have always been some of the best hacked drivers for ATI...I would steer clear for Nvidia, especially in a laptop

Yeah I gave up on them 100% and switched to the new official drivers. I know I saw a thread about some people using them for the dell inspiron 8600gt and getting good performance but it doesn't seem worth the hassle.

omega stopped making new nvidia drivers some years ago.
updating to whatever is on there now would not be intelligent. -
