Like 2 days ago, suddenly a red icon appeared in my ASUS Smart Gesture icon ..
and it's not functioning .. I tried to clean it with a dry towel, still not working ..
restarted my laptop, tried double clicking on the icon but didn't find any help :(
anyone knows how to fix this?

    Thanks

That indicates that your touchpad is deactivated.

Fn. + F9 should activate the touchpad again. It may be different on your laptop, that's my setup on the Asus N56vz.
It's a built in feature, should be indicated by a touchpad icon with a stroke through it.

OMG I thought it was broken, error or something else ...
Perhaps I accidentally pressed it when actually I tried to mute the sound (which was F10)

    anyway, Thank you very much!!
