    Hi,

I'm planning to purchase m6ne asus and i'm in canada. I read a bunch of hte posts here on the forums and asked some of the retailers in GTA in canada and i'm still confused on how the warranty works.

As with the M6Ne. I believe since it it barebones (preconfigured by a retailer / distributor) it comes wiht a standard one year warranty from ASUS.

What i'm confused is, how do you extend that warranty with either ASUS , or the company that ur purchasing the laptop from such as topmicrousa.com

I want to buy a laptop in GTA / Toronto / Canada so that it's easier for me but everyone here seems so shady on the warranty extension . That i think that the only warranty that you can extend on this laptop is warranty from that retailing company you buy from.

I'm not sure how it all works i'm wondering if any of you can clarify.

A question regarding the online retailers such as geared2play.com etc. that you purchase warranties from. the extended warranty on top of the standard 1 year. is that extended with ASUS or is it provided by geared2play ( or other companies)

    Thanks
    FElix

You may want to ask our vendor directly but this is how it works with geared2play.
When you have a warranty claim you need to contact your asus dealer first. If its within your first month of delivery you will not have to send it back to asus for any reason. Your notebook is guaranteed to be replaced in no more then 2 business days. After one month it depends on what kind of issue it is. Whitebook issues would be processed by your dealer and forwarded to asus. Only after speaking to o]your dealer should you call asus.
