I reached over for my water bottle only to knock it over. It spilled around the numberpad and arrow keys...Every single key works fine except my left arrow key.

Any suggestions or tips? I've been trying to call tech support but no one picked up for 10 min.

UPDATE: Ok, in the morning I called Asus warranty and they're sending me a label to ship my laptop over to them. Around 10 a.m., my left and right arrow keys stopped acting crazy and became stable. Should I still send it in or hope that it's alright?

    THANK YOU in advance.

Turn off your notebooks, remove the battery and let it fry for a day. If the problem persists and your notebook is still under warranty, call Asus again to set up a RMA.

If you have renters or homeowners insurance check with them as well. I know that my renters insurance covers accidental damage to my laptop.

Thanks monkey484 for the suggestion, unfortunately I don't have it...I was considering signing up for it but it was really expensive (now I see that it was worth it, haha).

My left arrow key and sometimes my right arrow key go spastic on me. I game and having those two important keys to do that makes me sad.

I called up Asus this morning and they said that they'll have it back to me in about a week. I don't know if I can stand waiting, I've had my HP laptop sent in for repair two years ago and it was horrible (2 months of waiting and only to get it back with partial fixes!!!).

Asus's repair service is rather efficient and quick if you're located in the US/Canada. I'd say you'll get your notebook back in about a week.

If you have an external keyboard, try use that and see if the arrow keys work properly. If they do, then it could be just your keyboard that needs to be replaced and if that's the case, you will definitely get your notebook back in less than 1 week.
