I was in a bus and the aircon was leaking at one side, one or 2 drops hit my right speaker and my keyboard. Hibernated it, then turned it on a minute later. It has been running for like 7-8 odd hours now, is it fine now?

If everything is working after 7-8 hours, it most likely will be fine, any water should have evaporated hours ago.

    relax :)

1 or 2 droplets won't do much, as long as none of it seeps into the casing onto the logic/mainboard of the laptop.

You should be fine, stop the worry :)

unless the drops ran down through to your mainboard its not a big deal. if it was pure water it is not so bad as water with any type of sugar. if you get sugar on your microcircutry if it doesnt duie right away it will shortly there after

I wouldn't be worried. I would think only the speakers are on that side and the keyboard is *SUPPOSED* to be spill-proof. (supposed to hold 50cc of water, though I would never deliberately try it, it doesn't look sealed...)

If you really want to be sure, leave the laptop face down so that gravity assists the water to the nearest exit, then use a kleenex or paper towel.

Otherwise, the only other way is to take the thing apart.

    Drops or droplets?

If it's an amount that would stick to a window (ie: droplets), I wouldn't worry.

If it's an amount that is visible enough in a glass (ie: drops), I'd be worried.

If it was only 2 drops of water, your notebook should be fine. Like Alex said, if it was enough that it would be visible (and let's say, "drinkable") in a glass of water, it could be significant enough to cause concern.

I wouldn't worry about drops .. or even droplets. Just make sure you give enough time for the water to dry out before booting up again.

    Cheers.
