    Hi,

Have anyone experieneced low wireless strength (for wireless N) on their G51 machines?

I have been having drops randomly while streaming video and playing games.

    Setting I used:
    Channel Width 2.4: Auto
    Roaming Aggresiveness: Low
    Throughput enhancement: High
    Transit Power: High
Allow the computer to turn of this device to save power: Unchecked

    Router setting (DIR 655)
    Wireless Channel: 11, 7
    Channel Width: Auto
    Security: WPA2, AES

Location of router: Middle of the second floor
Bad signal location: Bedroom of the second floor (with walls and doors in between)

Tried swapping the 5100 with a 5300 I bought from Ebay and attached the third antenna, still getting similar result.

In comparison, my Thinkpad T60 with a Atheros G mini card can get stable signal, though streaming is slow in comparison to wireless N streaming

Update the driver first, than change that WiFi channel to something not that common like 11, probably half of the routers around you are using 11, I changed mine to 10 way back and never had an issue after that, I also use 5300.
