I'm not sure if this is a vista issue or it's the laptop... Last night when I was done working with the laptop (asus m50vm) I just closed the lid as usual, the laptop goes into hibernation mode. When I opened the lid this morning and woke up the computer the screen was just plain dark gray, its like not turned off but just doesnt display anything. I use fn+f7 and the screen turns completely off, and turns back on displaying nothing. I restarted windows in safe mode and it works, im on it right now, but in normal mode it doesnt show anything passed the microsoft flash. Any ideas??

I think i've experienced a similar issue before. Next time, try Fn+F6.
