    Hi Guys

recently i've seen a few weird things happening with my laptops adaptor....when i move it just a little it disconnects and then reconnects like i unplugged it or something....then just yesterday when i was moving my laptop around the adaptor just died. Now this is the weird part...when i plug it into the wall the adaptor (the big black block part) starts making a weird beeping noise... like *beep* *beep* *beep* *beep*

my laptops an Asus A6ja model and the adaptor model is ADP-90SB BB...has anybody had this problem before? or know how to fix it? cause i can't really use my laptop anymore since i can't charge it or run it off the main power jack. :(

    any help will be appreciated

    Thank you very much :)

I had something similar happen to a power supply. It came back to life a few times and finally just totally crapped out. I ended up buying a new one, but it wasn't too bad.. maybe $40-60 if I can remember correctly. But yes, beeping and everything, that was a little strange for sure. Mine is an Asus S96J, and I think the wiring at the place we lived wasn't so good.. I had some other things die or act strange on me while I lived there, so that could be part of it.

well i just brought a new one...was thinking of taking mine apart and taking a look but it doesn't look like there's anyway of taking the adaptor apart...seems sealed up.
