Hi, I am not too sure whether this is the right session of the forum to post problem. Please let me know if this is not the case.

I got my Asus A8j laptop about 8 months ago, and this laptop works like a charm ever since. However, when I rotate the laptop around at different angles, I have found that something detached and small are freely roaming in the laptop, I am not sure whether this came from outside source, or whether it's detached from the internal hardware (ie: even still my laptop works PERFECTLY fine, including absence of overheat).

Something that bothers me is that sometimes, the tiny "whatever that is" move to where the fan locates, and make some kinda of blocking sounds for a short while, and then I think the fan expel it elsewhere inside the laptop. I am wondering what I should do, and what might be the cause of it?

    Thanks abunch

Maybe it's a loose screw. If it's metallic it can cause a world of trouble, short circuits etc. Even if it's plastic it can kill your fan.

Just open up the laptop and remove the thing whatever it is. The A8 has easy-access plates on the belly, remove them and see if the thing falls out. Otherwise take out the keyboard.

If you can't find it in those places search for a disassembly manual and go from there.

But the fan might be behind the quick-access panel on the bottom, if so and it hits the fan sometimes removing that panel should get you to it.
