I just got my computer back from Asus for a malfunctioning trackpad. They reinstalled windows, so I decided to do a fresh install as I have done many times before. However, during the install it stops and gives me the error 0x80FE0000. A google search says that it is likely an attempt to install Windows on a drive that is not the primary, but I am not sure how that is even possible. Has anyone encountered this problem, or know how to fix it??

Did you format the HDD when you did a clean install?
