Ok So I installed the Samsung EVO 250GB into my UL30A just now. I am having some odd issues. I did a perfect clone and right now it is working fine, though I haven't restarted again yet.

The computer has some random boot up issues. So at first, it said please insert bootable device and restart. So I went to the BIOS and made sure Hard Disk is the first boot device, I pressed save and restart and it booted up fine. Then I restarted one time after using Windows, and I had the Boot up error again. I repeated the steps in BIOS settings and then it decided to boot up fine again.

One question, where is the "Enable AHCI" setting on this MOBO? I cannot see it in the BIOS. However, Samsung Magician is saying it is running in AHCI mode. I checked device manager and looked at the Intel SATA/AHCI Driver and it says running fine, however there is no mention of it using AHCI at default. Can somebody help me?

AHCI is found under the SATA type in the BIOS.
I always recommend a clean install on a SSD instead of cloning as more times then not you get errors. If you keep getting errors and boot issues you may just want to do that.

Check the physical connection as well. Even if it appears okay, remove the drive and reseat it, and make sure that it is firm in place. It's possible there was a nuance in cloning, though generally cloning is either hit or miss. Worst case scenario: reinstall Windows from scratch after backing up your data.
