Well tonight I laid down the cash for an F8SA.

I was wanting a 17incher with an 8800 GTX earlier today and was planning on waiting. But then I came to my senses and thought the 14" screen and the HD2600 will get me by just fine. Not to mention the $1500 I saved.

What really sold me was the 2 year GLOBAL warranty and 1 year accidental. After another $25 for another gig of ram I should be set aye.

    What do you think?

I'm excited to see what the HD2600 can do, but worried that my desktop x1950GT will still overpower it.

No one wants to welcome me. Fine i'll just enjoy my new laptop in solitude! And keep my thoughts and impressions to myself.

It's just not really that "cool" of a club. We're all too busy tinkering with our computers.

The HD2600 will get owned by a desktop x1950GT.

Asus owners I have found are far more...brotherly/sisterly when compared to like dell or toshiba owners. Hell, I've seen fewer comeradery between alienware owners (probably all too busy complaining about how they got screwed over by the price tags).

I know I made a good friend with another guy here at college over asus notebooks. One guy started going on about his cute little 15.4" alienware...so my C90s came out to play and so did another guy's S96s...that poor alienware got owned when we all went on BF2142 :p
