    What Bluetooth module for a Asus g60vx

    I want to add Bluetooth to this machine but I cannot figure out what Bluetooth module is supposed to go in here. anyone done this what module did you use? any links appreciated :)

    how about anyone that has added Bluetooth to a g50 or g51 series? they are virtually the same as my g60vx right? any help here is appreciated as a search is not giving me any answers.

    Probably not the answer you are looking for but I am using a usb logitech bluetooth receiver from a MX5000 for my bluetooth devices.

    I also searched this a while ago and someone had found the module they use in the G50/51/60 series, but it was like $45+shipping. So then I was like "no way" and then I bought a micro usb bluetooth dongle and then everything worked awesome even though I now basically have but 3 USB ports but that's okay because I got a bluetooth mouse too and I definitely do not need punctuation in this paragraph.

    Well for me I cannot give up the usb port so it has to be internal :( If anyone can get me that module part # or any info it will be much appreciated.

    $15? Nice. I still personally don't mind sacrificing a port to connect a mouse, remote, and the chance to freak out Mac users for a bit less... But I suppose we're here to tell you how to do what you want, not what we think you should do :)

    Best of luck with the upgrade. That's a lot of work to get to the module bay!

    BT-183,, can get on ebay (shipped from Asia) or estore,
    make sure you read the guide first, so that you can have an idea what you should do before reaching the BT Bay of the machine.

    Are you sure that's the right bluetooth module?? It doesn't say it's for the G50/G51/G60.

    I found this one which is for the G50vt and most likely the G51 and G60 too.
