    Hi all.

I am in not sure what Eee Pc should i buy.
Situation is as follows. I am buying G73JH next week and i am so happy thanks to your reviews. Feeling like a baby waiting on her new favourite toy.
So i want to have a nice and small lappie to carry with me arround (in my pocket :) )...
So as i want to switch completly to ASUS since i am not very pleased with my HP8530W i was thinking to get an Eee PC.

I am from Croatia (Central Europe) and have very limited choice to pick.
Narrowed it down to 2 models:

    #1 is:
    ASUS 1005HA-BLK085S Atom N270 (1.60GHz), 1024MB DDR2 (667MHz), 160GB(5400rpm), 10.0" (1024x600) CSV, no ODD, Intel 950GMA, Wi-fi Atheros, 0.3MPixel Camera, 6cell-4400mAh, Windows 7 Starter, black

    #2 is:
    ASUS 1101HA-BLK036M Atom Z520 (1.40GHz), 2048MB DDR2 (667MHz), 250GB(5400rpm) + 10GB eeeStorage, 11.6" (1366x768) CSV, no ODD, Intel 950GMA, Wi-fi Atheros, 0.3MPixel Camera, Windows 7 Home Premium, black

Price difference between these two calculated in USD is around 50$.

I will use this lappie 90% for watching movies, skype-ing and web browsing, and 10% for office (Word, Excell, PP & Outlook).

I am cheering for 1101HA (bigger res, hdd and 2 gigs of ram) but my only concern is someones review that said that during watching the video was a bit rough and not so smooth. Also someone mentioned that overclocking was not working with 2 GB of ram (is that solved with BIOS Update).

Thanks in advance for your very appreciated help.

    Best regards,
    Coravi

    1005HA. And the Z520 is 1.33GHz, not 1.4.

Higher resolution screen is better, but the Z series atoms are garbage.

Higher resolution and lower CPU speed is most likely why video playback skips on the 1101HA. My wife has the 1105HA. We use it to stream Netflix video to our 720p TV, and that has worked fine. Does well with Office 2007 as well.

in recent times there have been some reviews for the Eeepc 1015, 1016 and the higher end 1018 coming out later on this year.

I would wait patiently for the 1018 IMHO, thats what I'm doing. its supposedly cased in aluminium and the thinnest Eeepc yet. I think they're trying to attract a more business type market and with this I think they will get it. I'm sold and it hasn't even been released yet.
