The msi labtop had a flaw in it where the wifi card would not be able to connect to internet so forth. But i have been looking at asus and some laptops seem to have the same problem can someone tell me what laptops have this flaw with the wifi card. And also whats a good gaming asus laptop thanks guys :).

Hello and Welcome to the forum :)

Did the operating system on the laptop come pre-installed or did you try to install it yourself? If you are manually installing you may have to install specific software for your laptop which may be found on its website.

Does your WiFi card see the access points/ routers? Are you sure it is not a configuration issue either?

If you are sure there are no software issues, the problem may be a on-off issue with your specific computer, do you want to get MSI to replace it?

If you are sure about getting a new laptop, I think it is a good idea to go to the "What Notebook Should I Buy" forum and fill out the form. The folks there can help you getting the right computer

The Intel AC 7260 cards are decent in and of themselves, but a lot of people have had issues with them, issues that seem related to drivers. You may want to consider a different card when you go for a new computer; the Wi-Fi issue you described has happened on a lot of different systems by different manufacturers.

What version of Intel WiFi driver did you use? Have you tried older versions?
