EDIT: They're "Automatic", from an answer I got elsewhere.
I disabled Asus update service a month ago to avoid a problematic bios update and I can't remember if these two settings should be set to manual, automatic or auto - trigger start.
I have the G14, but I assume it's the same across Asus laptops.
Can someone look in their services and refresh my memory on what these should be set to?

You can just open an admin command prompt and delete the services rather than remembering to disable them.
- sc delete asus
- sc delete asusm
I recommend doing that with services for any and all of the OEM bloatware garbage you don't plan to use. No point in wasting system resources on rubbish that isn't essential.
Asus has gone full Nazi with all of their bloatware in the past couple of years. Their latest barf bucket (Armory Crate) is digital feces.Last edited: Apr 20, 2021Papusan likes this.
