    Pretty self-explanatory title. I don't need to know the differences between the f8 and the m50, just between the B1 and C1 and the A1 and B1, because I haven't found that information anywhere else. I'll take recommendations from among the four, too, if you have a strong opinion on which one is best for a college student. Thanks!

    Searching one of the resellers sites would have netted you the info -- read these for comparative specs:
    M5x-a1, M5x-B1

    F8x-B1; F8x-c1

    You're welcome :)

    Basically from ClearSkies's link

    F8Sn-C1 vs. B1
    T9300 vs. T8100
    320GB vs. 250GB
    WXGA+ vs. WXGA
    1400$ vs. 1110$

    M50-A1 vs. M50-B1
    T9300 vs. T8100
    DVD-RW vs. Blu-Ray
    1290$ vs. 1400$

    Basically, if you need Blu-Ray --> M50-B1

    If you want a number pad/15" and don't need Blu-Ray --> M50-A1 (better CPU and cheaper)

    Between the two M50 models I'd go with the B1 model as the difference in CPU will be hardly noticeable unless you routinely use CPU intensive tasks and Blu-Ray is pretty sweet.

    If you want 14.1" (more portable) and have the cash, the C1 >= B1 in every way except for the price --> F8Sn-C1
    IMO the WXGA+ is the most important improvement between the two models. If you think that the WXGA+ is too high of a resolution for a 14", then I'd go with the B1 model as the HDD and CPU aren't really worth the price premium.
