BF2 plays just fine at medium settings at 1028x768, but gets a little choppy if you try to max it out. My W3V has 2GB of RAM, though...

The screen is plenty bright, no worries there. Noise isn't bad - quieter than my trusty ol' Thinkpad X20. When I first got it I was loading up something, and the DVD drive was making a real racket, but it hasn't done that since, so I don't know what was going on. I did have it in my lap and may have been putting some odd pressure on the drive?

That's a W3n if his specs are correct...... unless you're getting it for a steal, I'd look at the newer W3v w/ the ATI x600 graphics.

Yea... sorry, typo.... people flip at the littlest things... I'm glad I checked back or this thread would have exploded by Monday...... I changed it in my post..... but what I was trying to say was that the model described above is the W3n which has the ATI 9700 chipset verses the W3v w/ the ATI x600.....

It's not happening at this time, but if the W3 got an update from x600 to x700, it would be the W3va or... just like the V6v and z70v updates.
