    I dont know if this has been asked before, but I asked both Newegg and Asus and both CS agents directed me to the other. So Im wondering what comes with the 1000HA. Obviously the battery and netbook do, but do you get like driver and os cds too? I ask because the EEE PC lacks a disk drive ( does anyone one know of a netbook with a disk drive for < $500? ), so if you had an issue and needed to format maybe they gave you a USB key with the OS and drivers on it ( just a thought ) ? A list of everything it comes with would be nice.

    CD with drivers and ghost images of XP (cd can be used to nlite xp)

    As for netbook with cd drive, there are some in other countries, but look for an EEE coming soon with a cd drive (it was shown off at CES, has chicklet keyboard and N280 like the 1000HE).

    Hmm...so then could I vlite XP and put it on a flash drive and format using that? I mean, can I boot from a flash drive if I needed to reinstall rather than buying an external disk drive?

    Yes, in the bios there is an option to do that.
