    What does "HD vision" sticker mean?

    I have a G50VT-X1 that has this sticker. Could anyone tell the meaning of this?:

    It usually means you have an LED back light. Does the sticker on the latop say "WXGA+15.4" or "WXGA15.4/LED" ?

    Not quite. I believe the "HD vision" sticker signifies that the notebook can produce video at 720p or greater resolution.

    Also, non of the G50 series notebooks have an LED display.

    So, you mean that I can play HD movie on the G50VT-X1? Does it require a special software to play?

    Nope, you don't need any special software to play HD content. Just make sure you have the proper codecs.

    HD Vision means your laptop is capable of HD content playback. All G50 series do not sport a LED solution.
