    Hi,

Tired of my X501A working bad I decided to do a clean install from a Windows 8 iso in my USB.

I deleted the Asus partitions. And I am still having the same problems and even more. I get blue screens of death or it shuts off and goes to UEFI.... A disaster.

So I tried to install the ASUS drivers from the Asus site, but for instance it won't allow the Asus Live Update one. It says it's only for Asus laptops... So mine is not Asus anymore.

Anyway, I noticed for instance that I am missing some drivers. Shown on the screenshot.

But I don't know which ones they are.

1- Does somebody know what those missing drivers are?

2- Could I get somewhere an Asus Windows 8 iso with all that Asus stuff and partitions? Of course I didn't make any backup before formating.

    Thanks

Usual suspects for those drivers are things like the inbuilt camera.

    That worked.

One is Realtek PCIE Card Reader and the other one is Asus Wireless Radio Control.

I installed them and it all went well.

    Thanks a lot.

In case somebody else has the same problem, they can be downloaded from Asus site, but I leave direct links here if someone can't find them in the Asus site. Note that they are for Windows 8.
