    Hi,

    I'm reinstalling my machine. Downloaded the patches from the asus website.

    But what is annoying is that Asus does not provide descriptions for some/most of them.

    Like this one:

    AGFNEX_VT Generic drivers.

    I think the V stands for vague.

    What is it for?

    It is needed for Asus hotkeys like brightness or changing the backlight brightness. It isn't really absolutely needed per se but you're crippling you're system without it.
