I've recently been poking around, trying to find a budgetable, sub $900 laptop and I found myself looking at two ASUS models. Here they are:

    1. NCIX.com - Buy ASUS K53SV-A1 I5-2410 6GB 640GB 15.6IN GT540 DVDRW Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Notebook - Asus - K53SV-A1 - in Canada

    2. NCIX.com - Buy ASUS K53SV-A1-CBIL 15.6IN HD i5 2410M 6GB 640GB GT 540M WIN7 Prem Mocha Notebook - Others - K53SV-A1-CBIL - in Canada

As far as I can see, the specs are the same, minus the fact that the second has CBIL in the name. I have two questions:

    1. What is this CBIL in the name?
    2. Are either of these "bang for the buck"?

    Thanks!

    Canadian Model
Bilingual - from what I bingged it appears various models have this designation, French and English are preloaded and you have to choose 1 when you boot up.

For a similar price (900 US ) I would look at this machine
