Just like the says:
What is Net4Switch and Winflash? Do I need it?
-
-
I don't know what Net4Switch is, but Winflash is a BIOS update utility for Windows. It's one heck of a lot easier than updating BIOS from an external source (floppy, CD, etc)
-
net4switch i believe allows you to switch between different network connections.
-
So is Net4Switch useful at all? I'm thinking of removing it.
-
It's crap, really. I never needed in my long life of mobile internet user.
-
delete it and never think about it again.
-
Yep delete net4switch. You won't need it. Leave the winflash intact. You might need it to update your bios.
-
You can use the Windows wireless utiltiy instead of Net4Switch.
-
Well its not only that it does the same thing, nothing new, it actually just wastes your time while its figuring out if another program is filling its purpose.
-
I disagree.
I roam from several different networks.
All have there own loacal printers and network drivers.
Net4switch allows you to customize your entire network settings based on the network you are connected to.
Windows will not do that for you.
Unless anyone has a better program, i think NET4SWITCH is a definite keeper.
