    Hi guys,

Trying to figure out how much my computer should be worth if I were to sell it.

    It is an:
    Asus z96js
    Intel Centrino Duo 1.83Ghz
    1Gb Ram
    ATI X1600 mobility
    80Gb HD
    Intel Pro wireless
    DVDRWcombodrive

I bought it for $1550USD in august. Provided this is good shape, what should this be worth now?

    thanks!

It should be worth about $800-$900.

too bad is a centrino. I say $1000-1100, in a personal sell, not ebay.

You have Core Duo and a Centrino Duo. The Centrino Duo is just a Core Duo with several other components that when packaged together is called Centrino Duo.

That system would usually sell for about $1400ish. Since it's been used by you, though, I'd put it at around $1000.

The regular Core Duo, only 1gig of RAM and somewhat small HDD bring it down more.

You can get a better config occasionally for around $1000 if you look for deals, minus the x1600, so thats what brings the price down.

For reference, I just paid about $1150 for my setup (Z96Js, 2GHz Core Duo, 1GB RAM (one stick), 120GB HD)--bought yesterday.

You'd probably get around $800-900 for it on ebay, maybe a little more through other channels.
