Faster processor + new DirectX10 GPU and about $300.

I haven't heard if the G1S will have Intel Turbo Memory.

Also G1s has an eSATA port! I am sure the price of the G1s will come down once it becomes available.

Also the G1s has corrected the flex problem on the left side of the key board...a problem that was so bad on my G1 I returned it.

The G1s has DX10, Santa Rosa, E-Sata, Expresscard and HDMI.

    Edit: Oops, meant G1s

Thats what Scoobasteve is saying. Because the flex on the left side of the keyboard is annoying. I know it isn't a big deal but if it gets fixed that would be awesome. Even better reason for someone to get a G1S.

Actually, my G1 doesn't have the keyboard flex. I initially had a G1 with that annoying flex, but then RMA'd it for another reason. The replacement I got has almost no flex at all; the left side is securely held down. There is only slight from the F3 to F7 keys but nothing even close to the very annoying rattle of my first G1. I was hoping that Asus had remedied the keyboard problem and that I had received a new unit from a "fixed" batch of G1's.

I have G1 and I just got the G1s. While the G1 has a pretty annoying flex on the left side of the keyboard, it has been completely eliminated on G1s. The keyboard just feels solid - as it should. On the other hand, my G1 shows the Windows Experience Index of 4.5. This is because of RAM, which is the slowest component. The processor is rated at 4.9. My G1s shows WEI or 4.4. This is because the processor is rated at 4.4. Yeah, the graphics scores are significantly higher on G1s as compared to G1, but I'm totally not sure what to think about that processor score. ???
