I have 2 slots with 512mb each. I'm looking to upgrade to 2gigs so I was just wondering what I need to know before I buy some 1 gig sticks on ebay and sell my 512's. thanks.

You can use CPU-Z to try and get the manufacturer and model number for the RAM. Doy uo know which new RAM you will require, when you come to upgrading?
