I've been looking at ram and I'm not sure what kind I should get I know that the ram in my g2k right now is pc2-5300.
When I'm looking is there anything else I need to look at besides the pc2-5300, like Cas Latency, timing, or Heat Spreader , or does that stuff not matter so much?
Also is there any better ram that I can use then the pc2-5300.

    Sorry for all the questions!
    Thanks for your Help.

Go here and see what it suggets: http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/ .
You should be able to put 6400 but I do not think that it will have much of an impact. If available, go grab a 2gb kingston valueram from frys or frys outpost and enjoy. They got a great lifetime warranty and its all you really need to spend, then save or sell you other stick. Good luck.
