i just bought my asus g1s last night from xoticpc.com and today i purchased an antec notebook cooler to go along with it. i already have a nice logitech mic, some really nice logitech 3.1 speakers, and the notebook comes with a decent mouse from what i hear.

but what mouse pads do you all use? i know it's a minor question, but i've had horrible experience with mouse pads in the past. i was thinking about this one from revoltec:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826999004

it's simple and gets the job done, which is what i'm looking for. nothing really fancy like those high-end glass/aluminum ones professional gamers use. what do you guys think?

As a future owner (probably), I give myself permission to answer =P.
I don't use a mousepad, since I have a Laser mouse it works on every surface almost flawlessly. They are so worth the money.

Never heard of Revoltec .. I have the SteelPad QcK ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826993002) and I'm quite happy with it. Check out the SteelPads, they are generally great for gaming .. maybe a bit over prices though.

EDIT: What kind of speakers are you looking for ? A full 5.1 set or just desktop speakers ?

    Cheers.

Not a G1s owner, but I've had my Razer eXactmat for about 2 years, and it's been great. The gel wristpad is kinda too hard for my delicate wrists though :p

Ratpadz is big...and i only have the GS version...i can't imagine how big the larger version is. Just make sure you have enough room on your desk.
