Heya, I recently received a used asus eee pc from my grandmother. It was recently my cousins of whom is 11 and a technology idiot. He had this thing so sickly bugged it took me forever to de lice it. Below is a list of programs that have been downloaded. I am not sure what he added and what was already pre-programed. Thank you for helping. I am currently 7 months pregnant and I can't afford for my little notebook to be this slow, nor can I afford to replace or send it out. Thank you so much!

Honestly I'd just reinstall Windows. The PC would be faster and wouldn't necessarily have remnants of uninstalled programs. Just my two cents.

I have to admit I am a bit of a newbie. I did pretty well while I was removing the initial errors, BUT it required my fiance to help me. He, like me, is also pretty naive with some things though. I'm not sure if I would even know how to re-install, but this beast is so slow I can't even watch netflix.

Haha it's cool. I should've linked to an appropriate guide though to help you out.

Do you know what your laptop's specs are? Or the specific model number? I could help you more then.

I may be wrong but you have a netbook. I don't know how an Eee PC performs but you likely won't be able to stream Netflix movies in HD. :(

I would post more helpful info but I'm on my phone at the moment!

The laptop should have a recovery partition that you can use to restore the laptop back to its factory condition. Without knowing your particular model, all I can do is link you to Asus' support page, which has a guide on how to roll back using said factory recovery: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Troubleshooting Eee PC 1201HA

I hope that link is relevant to your system. :) You can uninstall things one by one, sure. Doing the recovery will save you time and hassle, though. Then you can install whatever you like from there.
