    You might want to double check it uses a memory slot at all and if it's easy enough for you to access.

    That's what I was hoping someone on here might know
    I have done some research and there are f550lb models with 8gb of ram and from what I found Its 1600mhz
    I went through there support page and one of the help items was if OS boot is slow add some compatible ram so I guess it should be upgradable

    this is what i found so far so i think i can upgrade the 4gb slot in myne i just need to find out the voltage now lol (myne only has 4gb so im hoping that that is solder on)

    all haswell mobile processors only accept 1.35v DDR3L low voltage memory.

    Thats the info i was after thanks heaps i know you said it before but i did not understad the 'sodimm term when i looked it up i thought it was the same as 'sdram' lol how sad :)
