Not sure about the GPU, but most CPU fans will turn on in the 40-50 degree range...
I set my M6Ne fans to turn on at 55 degrees, and to turn off at 45

I use Centrino Hardware Control to control my fans... however, I'm aware that its fan controlling function doesn't work with many other notebooks.

CHC fan control doesn't work on the Z70V...at least not mine...have to use speedfan, which is a pain in the ass, so I don't even bother.

Yes same here looking for some software that I can simply and easily set the temperature and speed the fans are on at. Also something that saves the settings when I turn the laptop off.

    Any suggestions.

You'll need to get Everest and run that so you can detect the fans

i tried using everest to detect the fans and speedfan actually found them but changing the percentage for fanspeed had no affect.
