I saw ASUS F3 Series models from newegg.com , F3SA-A1 and F3SA-A2.
They have almost the same specs(T7500 2.2G+HD2600 512M) but remarkable difference of price.
F3SA-A2 $999
F3SA-A1 $1,182.51
I couldn't tell the difference ,so i don't know which models shoud i buy.
The diff is built quality or what?
-
Not build quality, some specs that you must have missed. Maybe check carefully the specs, check the owner lounge, or do a search, this question must've been asked before.

here is the links from newegg.com,u could click to check out:
F3SA-A2
F3SA-A1
the A1 and A2 have basically the same specs , the only diff is that the cheaper(999$) F3SA-A2 has 2 gigs ram but F3SA-A1($1,182.51)has 1 gigs .
a little weird...
I also did some search. I found there are many threads talking about F3SA-A1,and i even got a detailed reviews on F3SA-A1.
Unfortunately ,i didn't get any threads talking about A2 and their diff.
I am confused .
This will be my first laptop. I am not very familiar with the specs of laptops.
why F3SA-A2 got a lower price than F3SA-A1 ? and F3SA-A2 seems to be better(2 gigs in A2)
It seems that i should buy A2 because of its lower price with the same specs, but what i'm worried is that there are some flaws that i don't know. -
Looks like only the RAM is different. There may be a typo and there might be a CPU difference. I suggest you call/email the reseller and ask.

The more expensive A1 is even listed as an Open Box item - very strange.
Also, the A2 is $100 off right now, which puts them a little closer in price, but still... -
ye,A1 is listed as an Open Box item.
A2 is listed as Retail.
I hope there wil be a person who owns A2 could gives a review here. -
I ordered F3SA-A2 from newegg and it is arriving tomorrow to my house. They had A1 in stock for a long time and not A2 up until about the middle of last week. There were 3 or 4 reviews on A1 on newegg 2 weeks ago and the number jumped to about 25 by Wednesday. On Friday I opened newegg page to order A1 plus additional 2GB of RAM and found out it is not available anymore but there is A2 with the same specs plus 2GB of RAM. They must have realized the biggest deficiency of A1 model (memory) and simply replaced it with A2 modification.
Selling points for me were:
T7500
eSATA
HD2600
This laptop will do basic home needs, some video processing, plus hosting my Oracle playground. -
Nevermind, I think I edged into the "cross post" area.

I have the F3SA-A1. I paid $999 at Newegg just two weeks ago. I then purchased an additional 2GB RAM for $35. I am very satisfied with this notebook. The cracked plastic others are discovering near the right lower edge of the keyboard has me a little worried. And I am not installing my apps, installing printers and network setting, and moving email over to this until SP1 is released. But otherwise, I am very happy with the notebook. Seems like an incredible deal!
